Thailand former coach Kiatisak believes U23 Thailand will be qualified for the quarter final of AFC U23 Championship 2020.

Kiatisak shares, “U23 Thailand didn’t have a good performance in SEA Games 30th, but its players tried their best. Akira Nishino also admited the failure was from the mistakes during preparation.
Players didn’t understand their coach’s tratergies. They need more time to adapt. I think U23 Thailand will be qualified for the quarter final although they are in the same group with Bahrain, Iraq and Australia.”
Former footballer said that the players of coach Akira Nishino need to consider playing for the national team as an honor. Accordingly, Kiatisak believes that Thailand’s U23 will win good results at home.
"Playing for the U23 team is a special honor for any player. They need to try their best whether they win or lose. Certainly if the players do their best, they will get good results at the AFC U23 Championship 2020, " added coach Kiatisak.
U23 Thailand fell into Group A with all strong opponents Bahrain, Iraq and Australia. Leading Asian football experts predict Iraq and Australia as the two bright candidates for the next round.
