Vietnam national team has been a hit in the continent by their excellent performance to surpass many ‘giants’ to get into the round of 8 strongest team in Asian Cup 2019. Recently in King’s Cup, Park Hang-seo’s side defeated Thailand and lost closely to Curacao, then took the second spot of the tournament.
Then Vietnam national team will join World Cup campaign. There are 6 matches in the first qualifying round on Sep 5, Sep 10, Oct 15, Oct 14, Nov 14, Nov 19. The other 4 matches will be held in early March and June , 2020 Thereby, Vietnam national team will play 6 matches in 2019, 3 in the My Dinh stadium.
U23 Vietnam with the core players including Tien Dung, Quang Hai, Van Hau.. excellently passed AFC U23 Championship 2020 with 3 wins. The task of U23 Vietnam now is gold medal of SEA Games 30 before heading to AFC U23 Championship final in January 2020.
